Italy Covid requirements

Due to fly to Italy next week and can't get my head round what is required Covid-wise.
Me and DH both fully vaccinated, 15yo with two vaccs and 8 yo has had no vaccs, so I understand he needs to do a negative test.

I think we need to get the Green Pass app and get our QR codes on there?
Regarding our 8yo, what test does he need and how do we submit the results and where to?
Recently been to France and although strict at the time, it seemed clearer to follow.
TIA

I'm in more or less the same boat. DH and I are fully vacc'd. Two kids ages 6 and 9 not vacc'd. Agree it's very unclear what is needed. From what I can see:

Green Pass itself no longer needed (except for hospitals etc). Still need NHS QR code for those who are vacc'd.

Unvacc'd kids need test before flying, no idea whether this needs to be supervised or just certified or what??! Don't think they need anything whilst over there - again unless visiting medical places. Think they might need another test to come home. Again very unclear.

Lemme know if you find out anything

Oh also @florenceandthemac just checking that you know about having an FFP2 mask for the plane, not cloth or surgical.

There's the updated info.

The vaccination status is for entry to Italy. The tests need to be not self-administered. Green Pass still needed for any form of transport, so if the child is entering Italy on the basis of a negative test, that will need to be repeated every 48 hours/72 hours depending on if it's LFT or PCR. LFTs can be done in chemists in Italy.

FFP2 needed for plane. Last few weeks in other situations I've seen more surgical masks, but still not many. Cloth masks have never been mandated in Italy. You might get away with one, but I wouldn't risk it. I flew into Italy a couple of weeks ago and people in cloth/surgical were made to put an FFP2 on.

Shops will still insist on masks- you won't be allowed in without one. Restrictions are being released but individual enterprises decide for themselves, it would be very unusual to find a shop not asking for masks.
