Airport transfers with baby

Hiya, hoping someone has some knowledge about flying with babies and then airport transfers to the resort!

Me and my husband are going on our first family holiday abroad with our 4 year old and 11 month old on Sunday - to Lanzarote... As part of our package with Jet2 we have a flight transfer included which will take us from the airport to the hotel. What are the rules in Lanzarote/Spain? Do I have to take a car seat with us for the baby for that coach or do they go on your lap? My 4 year old usually has a carseat at home too but guessing he'll be okay on a normal seat for this short ride?!

We're also flying from Manchester airport so wish us luck with the queues 😳Any tips on keeping little ones occupied in the airport/flight much appreciated!!

I'd check with Jet2. They know about the children, so I would expect them to make appropriate arrangements. But.....

If it's a coach then I'd assume they'd sit on your knee. If you want them to sit in a car seat then you'd have to take one with you would be my guess. Not been to lanzarote, but in Tenerife we found it quite awkward to get a taxi with car seats, and it was clear that the hotel/taxi driver thought we were being completely over the top.

Coaches/buses in Spain are the same as in the UK - babies sit on your lap.
It would be very dangerous (and extremely cumbersome) taking a car seat on holiday if you haven't got a car. There's no way to safely secure it on public transport.

I use Atob Transfer, very quality service, comfortable ride and fixed price. If you have a small child, you can either carry them in your arms or bring your own car seat.
