Due to go mid may and getting the Covid requirements nerves ! Both myself and dp fully vaccinated and travelling with a 7 year old.
Am I right in thinking we no longer need to do anything other than show our proof of vaccinations ?? And 7 year old is exempt from any testing/vaccinations ? Wondering if we still need to do a spth form..

Flew into Ibiza on 9th April, covid passes checked as we left the airport (just visually, QR code not scanned), everything was extremely quick and smooth. Masks still required indoors for everyone over 6 years old, though that may have changed by now. I was anxious before going but it was all fine.

In Spain now. Masks not required for indoor seating at restaurants. This has only changed in the last few days.
We’ve had quite a bit of rain in the past week but hopefully the weather is improving. It is sunny and 20c today (southern costa del sol).

It says that you have had to have had your vaccination within 270 days of travel to.spain. I had my booster last October. We fly in July which will be more than 270 days since the booster. Does that mean my qr code won't be accepted? Worrying now because I'm not eligible for the 4th vaccination.

Your date(s) of vaccination must be specified and your final dose must have been administered within 270 days prior to travel to Spain. If you completed your vaccination (with both doses of a 2-dose vaccine or one dose of a single-dose vaccine) more than 270 days prior to travel to Spain, you must be able to show proof of having received a booster jab. There is no requirement for 14 days to have passed between receiving your booster jab and entering Spain. Booster jabs can be administered at any time prior to travel to Spain. There is currently no expiry date for booster jabs.

This is from Foreign office website @MistyFuckingQuigley
You're ok if you had a booster, no expiry time on them

@CuddlyCactus ah thankyou that sets my mind at rest. I clearly can't read!

I live in Madrid. Masks only for hospitals and chemists and on public transport. And it is enforced.
I also think it would be interesting that people are informed more thoroughly when they book travel that the UK is no longer an EU country and therefore there are many products that can no longer be brought into EU territory (especially food stuffs). I just don´t understand why people are surprised when it is enforced (but then I watch border controls Australia and Canada and they are fierce when it comes to taking stuff off people and binning it).
