All inclusive with babyclub

First holiday with the child and hoping someone could provide some help

Planning to go away in May and our boy will be one month shy of 3rd birthday. So many places have kids clubs, but for 3+, how strict are they usually on these things?

And for the baby clubs for under 3's they seem to be time limited (usually to two hour max). Not saying I want to leave him for 12-14 hours, but would be nice to have an extra hour or two

Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions for hotels/brands that offer baby clubs for longer periods (looking for all inclusive and anywhere in Europe really)

Many thanks

You could try Sani, or Domes of Elounda (might have the spelling wrong)

They have baby clubs and are set up for families, just not sure if they offer all inclusive, might only be half board.

We’ve done Club med with a child of that age and the childcare provision was great. We’ve also done the Scott Dunn Explorers club when skiing and they were good so I’d definitely look at their summer offerings if the budget is decent.

The kids club at Azia Resort in Cyprus takes children from 2.5 years and hours are 09:00hrs – 13:00hrs, 14:00hrs - 16.00hrs. The crèche at Olympic Lagoon Resot (also in Cyprus) runs 10.00-13:00
14.00-19:00.

If the baby club is limited to two hours, that’s how long you can leave them. It’s not about them being ‘strict’ that’s the limit. Like Asda aren’t being ‘strict’ when they make you pay £10 for an item that costs £10.

How long are you wanting to leave him each day?

I wouldn't say it's strict when it comes to ages really.
Look at holiday villages

Ikos resorts

IKOS resorts have creches and baby sitting services. I think the morning/afternoon sessions are 3 hours. Lunch session is 2 hours. Babysitting is per hour.

Thanks for your input Kanaloa, but I wasn't querying their 2 hour policy

And thank you everyone else for your suggestions, definitely some to check out over the weekend

It stands the same. They have a two hour policy for under threes. Your child will be under three. It’s not to do will being strict, but it will ruin your holiday if you go expecting to be able to go round policy to get extra childcare and they rightfully disallow that.

RigW · 22/04/2022 19:44

And that is why I have also asked for alternative suggestions, but again, thank you for your input, it has been most helpful.

If 2 hours per day isn’t enough childcare when you’re on a family holiday, maybe consider not taking your dc. Either leave them with a family member and go with dh or leave them with dh and go with friends. It sounds like you want a holiday like those you had before children. Just own it and do just that. It’s okay to want that too sometimes too. Otherwise your dc will spend their “holiday” with total strangers whilst you lay by the pool.
