Anyone been to Italy or going soon - COVID questions?

We’re off to Italy next week, I’ve been reading the advice from Italy here: www.salute.gov.it/portale/nuovocoronavirus/dettaglioContenutiNuovoCoronavirus.jsp?lingua=english&id=5412&area=nuovoCoronavirus&menu=vuoto&tab=1

And I think have worked out that as all of us are vaccinated we just need to do a passenger locator form and have a ‘Green pass’ as all of us were vaccinated within 6 months. However I’d like to check my understanding with others!

Also, I think our NHS passes count as green passes but I wasn’t entirely sure.

Is anyone else going / been recently with whom I could compare notes?

Sorry, not sure why there are two links!

I was trying to Google this too: I think I concluded one needed a super green pass and that a green pass required regular lateral flows? But I think 2 vaccines with last within 6 months, or a booster at any point gets you the super green pass?

But not sure and I was looking a few weeks ago now when I was booking a summer holiday so if anyone knows better than me I'm also very interested to hear!

We were in Italy at half term, at the time we needed lateral flows to get in, proper FFP2 masks, your NHS vaccination QR code was your green pass and we needed to do a passenger locator. They might have eased up a bit now.

I have to say, nobody was remotely interested in any of it, half hearted mask wearing, people just walking past the green pass scanner, nothing at all checked on arrival except for your passport...

We had the lost wonderful time and I'm sure that you will too, enjoy!

The advice from our tour operator, we are going in three weeks time, is that we just need to prove that we have been double vaccinated.

I'm in Italy.
Everything changes from 1st April. The long and short is that the Super Green Pass (Vax or recovery cert only) will effectively no longer exist, and where a SGP was needed, now a base GP (Vax, recovery, neg test) will suffice. As far as I know, the NHS Vax app thingy will suffice for that. You will still need the Pass for entry into most places, restaurants, bars (even eating outside)
Mask wearing hasn't been obligatory outside unless in a very crowded place where social distancing isn't possible, since the beginning of February. It is still obligatory and will continue to be so, in most indoor contexts. Some will insist on FFP2. You won't be allowed into a shop without a mask.
Restaurants and bars etc are obliged to scan a certain number of customers' passes iirc, and the police do make spot checks.

Yes we’re going next weekend. Seems to be passenger locator form for getting in then proof of full vaccination. So nhs app ok. Problem for us is teenagers don’t have the app in Scotland so I’ve downloaded the green pass and uploaded the certificates on it- really easy. I’ll take hard copies too. In Scotland you can just download and print off the nhs Scotland site - gives your QR code.

Agree with above. Vac = 2 vax if 2nd less than 9 months, or 2 vax + booster.

FFP2 on planes /transport etc.

Download vax code to Google pay as backup as NHS can be laggy sometimes (we use TousAntiCovid app as much easier).
