Check if the hotel has black out blinds. If not get a travel one.

Book a flight with convenient flight times (not early morning or late night)
Buy or borrow a travel stroller with a sun umbrella (one that goes flat so baby can sleep if needed)
Room with balcony or terrace so you can sit outside when baby sleeps
Check your Hotel is kid friendly and can provide cot, high chair, kettle in room for bottles etc
Nappies can often be super expensive in Hotels and resorts, consider bringing your own
If you are weaning check if Hotel is able to make purées for you(most all inclusive places will be able to)
Change of clothes in hand luggage in case of accident
Get a passport early enough (waiting time for child passport is 4 weeks)

Get a sling for the airport in case the pushchair isn't returned until baggage reclaim
Be careful not to let the baby get too cold in air conditioned rooms!

I would say book early or late flight as more chance of baby sleeping for most of flight as will be naturally tired. Pushchair for airport then sling at other end before you get bags and pushchair.
On holiday, we did breakfast, then swim to tir her out so then she would nap in pushchair (or room as we had swim up room) then you xan lie y pool. Repeat after lunch.

Check if there is a microwave in the room for warming up baby food and bottles. Or at least, a kettle.
It can be helpful in hotel rooms to have a bowl that you can use to warm up baby food or serve it. So take a bowl.

Bottle or breast feed during take off and landing - the swallowing helps their ears
Snacks to distract if they’re awake during flight
Yy to sling -even if the airline say it will be returned to you at the steps this has never happened to me.
