France travel question

I am travellling to France this summer & I am double vaccinated - I've not had my moister yet for a number of reasons but I am booked in to have it next weekend. I've just heard that travel restrictions are changing so that your booster must be within 4 months of second dose - my second dose was 5 months ago.. Will I need an additional booster before I travel?

With the caveat it would be interesting/essential to get various other opinions on this I’ll offer this answer but I’m very much open to correction.

As I understand it once you have had your booster your passé vaccinal becomes valid again (if it had lapsed) regardless of the interval between the initial two inoculations and that booster…so I think you are OK but second plus plus opinions needed,,

As an aside/FWIW over here there is no plan for a second booster, certainly ATM, and indeed the health minister stated on TV a few nights back that there were hopes within the government that the passé vaccinal might become irrelevant/go on hold, by summer (July).

It’s very much a changing situation.

The FCO advice is usually pretty accurate and you can subscribe for updates.

The summer is a long time away but if you were travelling now I believe you could enter the country but you wouldn’t qualify for passe vaccinal so bars, restaurants, long distance trains, pools, museums and ski lifts would not let you in. Some hotels also require it if they have some of these facilities.
