Hey everyone,
I'm looking to book to go to orlando for the end of this year after waiting to book for nearly 3 years, but I'm flexible between August 2022 and Feb 2023, I was just wondering what everyone recommended as the cheapest time to go, any hotel recommendations (ie whether to stay Disney, universal or off sites and if so where?) Also what the weather was like how many days you spent at each park there and who you flew with?
Sorry for the million questions I'm just so overwhelmed with booking and trying to get a deal 😅 thankyou x

Halloween is always quite a busy time in the parks and Christmas is full on heaving, so I’d avoid those two occasions if I were you (note that they start celebrating Halloween in a big way from the beginning of October and it gradually ramps up getting g busier and busier.
I’ve been middle to end of September before and it was nice, not crowded as all the s hooks are back and the weather was still warm and sunny.

Avoid the major holidays here - Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas. Avoid the UK half-term and Christmas holidays to get a better air fare.

I’d probably aim for between Halloween and thanksgiving.

US schools don’t have half terms do that works in your favour if you are working around school aged children. October will likely still be warm but is more likely to be overcast than Jan/Feb. Disney keeps all their pools heated, so you will be able to swim all year.
I’m biased towards Disney. I think staying in one of their mid priced hotels is a lot of bang for your buck.

Good site for info (not slick, but the information is there):
