Greece - luxury hotel with teens

DH and I have some big birthdays coming up so wanted to treat ourselves and 2 x teen girls to a luxury hotel. Don’t mind where in Greece (for July). Those that I have looked at on Tui look nice but trip advisor reviews say more like 3/4 star and mediocre food etc.
Ideally want accommodation so the girls have their own room or at least a partition. We don’t all want to be squashed in one room on top of each other.
Looking for a sandy beach close by, maybe half board with a few activities.
Any ideas or recommendations?

So far Neptune in Kos is looking promising…. Lots of room choice, prices not too crazy and activities too. Need to do a bit more researching!

We are heading to Ikos , Corfu soon but have been in Atlantica Aegean Blue in Rhodes before and loved it!
So much so that we are heading there again in July ! Lovely food, amazing water park . Lovely pools, great swim up bar . www.atlanticahotels.com/hotels-in-rhodos/atlantica-aegean-blue

Re Sani / Ikos - Ikos include all drinks , even champagne (drinks are extra at Sani ??)

Sani Beach Hotel, 100%. Genuinely the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Europe for families, particularly for teenagers.

We have booked Kefalonia white rocks hotel. Half board. Two rooms. Over 12s only.

Dardiza on the Peloponesse- only 5 rooms, but they have two family rooms which are two separate rooms and a kitchenette. And free watersports. Couldn't recommend it more (not really suitable for young kids, as it is mainly adults, but our teens loved it)

So I was very interested in Neptune in Kos. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and lounge area with loads of facilities at the hotel. We wanted a villa for the second week but seems like there aren’t many villas to rent in Kos! Not of great quality anyway.
Back to the drawing board. I’ve looked at so many hotels, I’m getting confused now!

I've seen people mention Jet2holidays as having a good search engine to help you find what you're looking for. You could even give them a call to see if they can help.

But perhaps ditch the idea of a hotel and look for a nice villa with private pool within walking distance of a beach/restaurants and eat out for most meals? Likely to have places that do boat trips, watersports etc if that's what you mean by activities.

So a luxury experience, but less expensive than the high end AI resort hotels?

Sorry to hi jack this thread but I am looking for a luxury hotel in Crete but just for me and DH. Anyone got any good suggestions?

Frenchfancy · 31/01/2022 05:54

Definitely separate rooms for the teens, especially if you are planning on a villa for week 2, you can hang out then. All inclusives are a great time to give teens a little bit of independence.

There’s lots of lovely villas on Vrbo. It sounds like you’ve looked at too many hotels now. Was the plan a week in a hotel and a week in a villa?
I’d go for booking two rooms half board or all inclusive at a 5 star hotel that offers activities then a week in a villa before or after.

Bellini12 · 01/02/2022 09:43

Yes that’s the plan. 5-7 nights in a hotel for a bit of luxury/activities then a week in a villa near a Sandy beach for kayaking/snorkelling/eating out in local tavernas..

It’s just finding the rooms/suite with an extra room (& ideally another bathroom).

Have already looked on Vrbo and there were literally 6 villas that came up in Kos. £3.5k and upwards for quite frankly not that special villas. Greece does seem more expensive than Spain (less choice I guess).
