Upmarket Mediterranean resort, lots of choice of restaurants, authentic and not brits abroady?

I would like to avoid our usual AI as I'm sure lots of restaurants in these places have struggled through covid, so I'd like to eat out and support local. Authentic Spanish restaurants aplenty, I don't mind a nice Mexican, Thai, Indian etc but not one of the brits abroad grills you get in the really touristy places. Plenty of choice too so we can eat somewhere different for dinner everyday for 10 days.

Nice beaches, pretty, sunny in May, not too hard to mooch around as I'll be 6 months pregnant.

Any suggestions?

La Carihuela just outside Torremolinos is just as you describe. Totally flat, lovely walks along a very long prom to the harbour at Benalmadena. Lovely, traditional little Spanish streets to saunter down, great Spanish shops and restaurants.
Lovely beach, 20 minutes to the airport and a great train service whee you can get to Malaga in 30 minutes if you fancy a bigger city.
Really recommend it, it was fabulous

Taormina is lovely, hardly heard anyone speaking English (thankfully I have enough Italian to order food!) lots of steps though

Cadiz would definitely fit the bill

@ihatethecold Cala D'or is lovely. I have been many times and definitely wouldn't describe it as a party place. We always stay in a villa so can't comment on the hotels but the marina is lovely and there are lots of great restaurants in the centre. For context I'm almost 40 but we go with family from small children to almost 70 year olds. I'm sure you will have a lovely time. Are you going at the beginning or end of June? Weather can be a bit uncertain at the start of June so you may want to plan that in when packing!

Thanks @WhatHaveIDone21
Heading out there the 2nd week of June.

@ihatethecold no problem. Weather could be glorious - it's just not certain. We have family who live out there part of the year and sometimes it's gorgeous and other times it can be mixed. I'm sure you'll have a great time whatever though!
