My Thailand holiday for April has just been cancelled.
I want to go to CR instead but I dont know where to start.
I would go with TUI but they only fly on a Wednesday and that doesn't fit in with college easter hols.
My DD18 is in her final year so cant take any extra days off.

We love wildlife and being on the beach.

I dont think any other airline flies to Liberia apart from TUI. so we'd have to fo to the capital and then transfer.

I have no idea if this takes ages or not. after an 11 hour flight we will be tired.

everyone is an adult thats coming. 3 adult kids. 18, 21, 21 and me and their dad

any good companies to approach

I need to get something booked soon for my sanity

Thanks

Actually you’re right, Sat 2nd April is the one they don’t run the direct flight. For some reason…

Photo only shows returns so a bit irrelevant, but basically on the 2nd there is only a return flight, but no outgoing LGW-SJO.

thats strange, its the start of the school holidays.

Would you do indirect? We've had good flights via Canada in the past.

ihatethecold · 08/01/2022 21:18

Yes I would. Canada air prices were more reasonable.

Such a rip-off. We booked and paid for our tickets on 7.11.21 and it was £892.46 for two adult returns.

Trethew · 08/01/2022 22:28

Yes try looking via Canada. Couple of years ago I went to Cuba, and despite being further it was a lot cheaper to go UK-Toronto-Havana. Easy and convenient too without hassle of US transit

Thanks trethew

Our Thailand trip booked in November was so reasonable in amazing accommodation.
I’m gutted I’ve had to cancel it.

Just looked at this for the same dates in April and it’s £950 PER PERSON!

amIITERFenough · 24/10/2022 12:51

but why don't you rebook thailand?
there must be a good reason i imagine
i'm looking at booking to go there next year and it's pretty easy re availability?
Costa rica is really easy to sort out as well.
you only need one night at the airport we had drivers who took us from place to place usual stuff arenal monteverde ulvita and manuel antonio . i'll try and remember who that was with but was fantastic reliable and actually cheaper than renting a car.
