Disney Paris in the winter is actually nice and a lot cheaper. The area its in is naturally dry. But it will be cold. If cost is no object a themed bedroomed would send him over the moon. Take the train/eurotunnel for transport.
Last time I looked Cresta was one of the travel agents to do Disney Paris.

Disney is fab for Grown ups as well, you walk around with a big grin on your face all day. The Buffalo Bill show is FANTASTIC in the evening.

You catch the normal train to Ashford, then catch the Eurotunnel passenger train from there, the train takes you to Calais then either directly to Disney Station (there is a specific train station at and solely for Disney.) or change trains and continue to Disney by train. The travel agents brocures or online brocure have it all worked out for you.

If you are travelling down from Scotland by train (itself probably taking at least half a day) then you can change at Kings Cross onto Eurostar from St Pancras (adjacent stations). Getting to Ashford itself would be a pita as it is in Kent and you pick up the same train anyway! tbh it would probably be cheaper, and quicker, to fly though.

the eurostar now goes from Kings cross st pancras so if you get the train down from scotland to kings cross it is a very short hop onto the train that will take you to Eurodisney!

I would go with the Easyjet, as its only a couple of hours flight. (I didn't realise you were in Scotland).

I think the Eurotunnel to Disney takes 2 or 3 hours.

discoverlife · 18/12/2007 11:10

Leger sort out the flights option as well. Not sure who they use, it may be worth going through the motions of booking the package just to see what the options are.

We took ds last feb to Bedruthansteps in Cornwall. Obviously the weather can be an issue but we were able to walk on the beach, go to Newquay Zoo. The hotel is geared towards children, swimming pool and a creche if you wanted to nip into the spa for a treatment.

Can you fly to Newquay or Bristol ? Bedruthan Steps is on the North Cornish Coast between Padstow and Newquay. Would take forever by train from Scotland otherwise !
