Going away with friends for the first time, so think it'd be a good idea to have separate villas, but how to find?

These are lovely good friends with dc's the same age as ours who've all known each other since birth. However we've agreed that so we all have our own space it would be best not to all stay in the same villa, the ideal being two villas with a shared pool.

I know there are loads of companies with villas, but I'm yet to find an option for two or more next to each other. Do any of you ladies know of somewhere like this or a way to research it.

We'd like to be in Europe somewhere during the school summer hols.

Check out www.abritel.fr (Gite Daglan was lovely)
It's a beautiful villa complex with 3 I think and a gorgeous pool.

We only wanted one villa but whilst I was looking, I found loads with 2/3 villas next to each other.
If you're interested in the Dordogne area, there were lots of places with more than 1 villa.

Try holiday-rentals.co.uk. it's mostly single villas but often there are two or more together. You book directly with the owner so it's usually far far cheaper than, say, James Villas.
We were interested in a villa in the south of France which was one of a groups of three arranged around a pool. they were all beautiful. I'll see if I can find the link...
