Where would be a good place next Easter?

We would be going as a family with teens for a short break, about 4-5 nights. We wouldn’t want to fly outside Europe, so not New York.
We’d happily go on a city break providing it had enough to fill the days, but would also love a resort also providing there was enough to do if the weather wasn’t suitable for sunbathing. Concerned with a resort things might not be open as too early in the season.
We mainly like nice restaurants and cafes, shops, sightseeing, parks and museums. Good lively safe atmosphere. Thank you

I would also say Grenada/Seville/Cadiz and that area, maybe the mountains as well as the cities.

Or alternatively Marrakech and the Atlas mountains, could do a night in the desert.

So many good ideas! From looking at the main holiday websites I don’t think there are many destinations at the moment I can book for. Also have the issue of a single vaccinated teen who may not get offered a second jab. Seems that Spain and Portugal are the main options at the moment and perhaps Croatia.

I think southern Spain should be warmer than most of Italy in April (though there are always exceptions!)

Valencia was fab with kids - old city with market, great restaurants, the City of the Sciences has a great aquarium, there's a park in the old riverbed where you can rent bikes and cycle for miles, there's a beach, there are some nice restaurants down there where you can eat in the sunshine and watch the world go by.

Lisbon is great with kids too - lots to do, sunny, friendly vibe (and people speak English).

I wouldn't do Prague with kids - there are nice museums and churches and things - but my kids would find it really boring!
