We've got flights booked for half term, wanting to spend a bit of time in Athens, then going on to an island. However, it appears that the Greek government has recently introduced a greater testing regime while in the country. We're 2 fully vaccinated adults, DC16 had one jab, DC14 likely to have had one jab before we go (so effectively 2 unvaccinated under 18s).
From what I can gather, they will need LFTs taken up to 48 hrs before going anywhere - archeological sites, museums, restaurants, cafes, etc etc. Is anyone else facing this?
DH seems to think compliance will be really low as it'll slow things up too much, but I'm not so sure. I'm not sure I can face the kids having to test basically every 2 days, plus it's an added cost (I think it's looking to be €10 per test, so not ruinously expensive).
Anyone else facing this? It looks as though Italy has also implemented these rules, so is it becoming the case across Europe?
