Discussing going away in October and DH being out off by online news reports on how chaotic airports are

Those who have traveled recently, how bad is it and which airport did you use?

Thanks

I don’t know if you’ll be able to get a boarding pass online since they need to check whatever it is you need for your destination. We couldn’t so had to go to the desk. But 90 minutes was loads of time, we even managed lunch and a mooch round the shops.

Fab thank you!

Travel through Gatwick on Sunday morning was super efficient, as was our arrival in Malta. I felt like we should make the most of this as it might never be the same when the crowds come back 😂

Much slower going through passport control as now they have to stamp passports post brexit and you have to go in the other queue ..
Planes are quieter , security is much quicker

Flew from Manchester to palma and back again. No queues at all in either airport. Really smooth both ends. This is peak holiday time too so October should be absolutely fine.

Go for it and enjoy!

Thanks all - feeling much better about it

Just got to get my head around the countries that accept 12-15 year olds who are not jabbed...
Lots of mentions of all under 12's and double jabbed adults being fine with no quarantine, but not sure about 12-15...!
