What inappropriate places have you accidentally taken your kids to (lighthearted)

Went away to a UK costal town at the weekend. Said town has a pebble beach. The waiter while we were having tea have us directions to a Sandy beach that the kids would probably enjoy more.

Driving back to the premier inn at about 10 o'clock that night we decided to drive to the beach and see if it looked worth visiting in the morning as it was on the way home.

Pull into a car park with 5 or 6 cars parked all with their headlights blazing and realised we'd just driven our 3 year old and 6 month old into a notorious dogging site 🤦🏼‍♀️

So, make me laugh with the inappropriate and not very child friendly places you've ended up with your kids.

Dh loves finding obscure little coves off the beaten track, unfortunately so do nudists as the children have discovered a number of times. Now the older ones know why I always hang back a little and let him go on ahead!

This is a great thread, I've not much to add but hoping more people come and share.

All I have to add is that my mum for some inexplicable reasons would take me on days put and instead of going to find somewhere nice for our picnic we'd always end up eating it in a multi-storey car park.

@AnnunciataZ I must have been super unlucky that day!

What? Please elaborate! I've booked for a quick 2 day trip to the Pleasure Beach for DS3 and myself next week! I thought it'd be a grand, wee trip away! Hmm

Took my 12 yo son to see a play on holiday, which turned out to be a farce about lots of married couples who were all having affairs. Son was a bit bemused and we left in the interval

@Puffalicious you'll be fine down the pleasure beach end.some of the areas round the tower aren't great but the further out you get the nicer it is
