That other one is soooooo far away but looks so lovely. Is there anything anywhere north of Watford Gap?
A reindeer?
A sleigh?
A jingle bell?
Anything vaguely resembling Christmas?

Looks interesting....sounds a bit like Xscape which is off the M62 nr Castleford. Am sure you will enjoy it!
Shame there's no reindeer or huskies!
Anyone else?

If you fancy a trip up to Scotland, there's the Cairngorm reindeer herd near Aviemore. It's a managed herd, the only one in the country, and they live pretty much wild on the mountains. You can go and walk to visit them and they also have a visitor centre at the bottom with (I think) a Santa's grotto at Christmas. You can see any of the weaker reindeer that they bring in for winter at close quarters as well. Really lovely.

Unfortunately due to foot and mouth restrictions they can't take the reindeer out on their usual Christmas tours this year, so coming up here will be the only way to see them.

btw, the big notice on the website that says Centre Closed refers to January next year. It's well and truly open at the moment.
