By a cross party comittee. They aren’t happy with Heathrow arrivals which they describe as a sieve. They don’t want the same thing happening at other airports..
And variants.
Thoughts?

This is an informative article about conditions at Heathrow www.theneweuropean.co.uk/brexit-news/queues-and-quarantine-at-heathrow-airport-7942580

And it's up to other countries whether they want to let us in or not, nothing to do with the Stasi ffs.

This discussion isn't about whether other countries will let us in (they will), it's whether willing British holidaymakers should be permitted to travel abroad.

Now that we have vaccines, that sentiment is madness. People need to let go of any sense of entitlement to control the movements and activities of other people. Some are enjoying it far, far too much.

The problem is the uk tourist infrastructure is too small and often poor value for money. And the weather is reliable and sea too cold.

I lived in Australia for most of the pandemic. There was no travel within the country, but the majority of people were fine about it. But they have beautiful beaches and weather in every state.

I reckon alot of people have just got so used to foreign holidays that they now see it as a right.
