Brittany Gite Recommendations

Hello all! Eek! My family are planning a Brittany get-together in summer 2022. My Dad is very poorly and wouldn't be able to travel far from the ferry port in Roscoff (1-2 hours Max but the closer the better).

We are looking for 5-7 cottages / gites in a single complex. Ideally one gite would have disabled access and ideally there'd be some play equipment or pool for the kids.

I'd be SO grateful if for any recommendations because I'm not finding anything. Thank you for reading!

Emerald Coast gites are amazing but always really booked up so I doubt you’d be able to get as many as five of them at once.
There’s also Poulmarvezen www.poulmarvezen.com and Brittany Gites www.brittanygites.com
Try some of the Pierre et Vacances sites and Huttopia Senonches. Senonches isn’t in Brittany but isn’t from the ferry and has some disabled access cabins.

We stayed here
www.la-cour-au-mercier.co.uk/

There are only 3 gites, but they sleep 14 + 3 babies. Everywhere was around 40 minute to 1 hour drive on quiet roads, ut in all directions, so good from that perspective. I think we went into Caen and returned home from Roskoff.

There is play equipment, heated swimming pool and optional animals.

Goodness that looks beautiful! Your suggestions are so helpful, thank you. I'll do some research. And thanks for the heads up on the disabled access, really good to know. (And sorry for the delayed reply, I didn't get any notifications! New to using the app... I'm such a numpty). Smile

Thank you so much for the suggestion - looks ideal! I could always look for local accommodation off site for a couple of people if need be. Really appreciate your suggestion and apologies for the tardiness of my response! I'll get the hang of this newfangled app at some point. Grin I'm excited to get planning!

@Baguettey, no worries. If you do stay there, I recommend making the drive to Nantes to this place:

It was a day out that we will always remember.

That's so funny - I's looked that place up a while ago. I got a bit obsessed with it! So glad you recommend it. It'll definitely go on the list, thank you!
