Hen do - Staying in Canary Wharf during the weekend?

Trying to organise a hen weekend for after lockdown but unfortunately lots of accommodation is already booked up.

We've found an apartment that fits the bill but it's in Canary Wharf. Specifically the nearest tube station (DLR) is Mudchute.

Is this going to feel like a ghost town at the weekend? Will it be a pain to get to and from Central London? Appreciate any advice as don't know London well.

Are clubs and places allowed to reopen in June? I've lost track of Boris's super-slow roadmap that's all about dates, not data.

Bath has loads of hen party houses in the centre of town (though some might have switched to short let's after COVID-19). Bristol is cheaper and livelier (and a 15 minute train journey away).

If you decide on Mudchute I think I would look to spend more time in Greenwich (two DLR stops away).

London is likely to be much quieter than usual even in the West End and Canary Wharf at weekends is a ghost town. It’s not especially exciting at the best of times.

If you’re happy to look at other areas how about Liverpool? My Stepdaughter had her hen there and while it wasn’t somewhere I knew at all, it was a really good choice. We stayed at The Shankly Hotel which was full of Hen parties - most of the activities (we had afternoon tea, evening dinner, spa and a club) are either within the hotel or at a sister hotel which in Covid times might make sense? They had large rooms with multiple beds - if you click on ‘party rooms’ some of them sleep up to 25. It wasn’t somewhere I’d stay normally but the hotel really ran things excellently. It was less than £200 a head from memory!
