God willing we would like to treat ourselves to an amazing holiday in Europe this summer (not booking anything yet, just planning).
We have 2 dc’s, older teens so a safe area where they could sometimes go off by themselves would be good.
We don’t like anywhere too quiet. We like to be in or near the centre of the resort, near a beach and also a place with lots of evening atmosphere, shops open, night markets etc. However, not too loud and rowdy, more nice restaurants and bars than nightclubs.
We also like doing a couple of day trips to local places of interest.
Hotel wise, we’d like somewhere with plenty going on, picturesque grounds, large pool/s, some evening entertainment (however cheesy). Half board or all inc preferred. Any recommendations please? Budget up to 5k.

Insotel Punta Prima

Thank you - the hotel looks nice. We’ve been to menorca a few years back and found it quite quiet though, now that dcs are older would probably prefer somewhere a bit livelier with more places to sightsee.

I loved Menton in France. It's also so easy to hop on the train along all the South Coast of France and get off at different stops

Hotel Belcekiz Beach
We stayed here for a week after a cruise with our teens and it worked really well. There was lots going on at the hotel and you could walk straight onto the promenade from the hotel where there were shops and bars and the beach. A couple of hundred meters away were boat trips, you could book paragliding and other trips at the local shops which were about 100 meters away. We went on a few good trips. The scenery is lovely, we had dinner each evening looking at the green seaside hills (I’m not sure the proper name). The bar at the hotel was really nice, you could watch people walking by. We watched the entertainment and then played cards in the bar.
