taking train from london to vienna with 15 mo - which pushchair?

I think this may be the least of our worries in travelling on the train with our 15mo (who's never been on a train before), but anyway...

We've got a bugaboo and a really lightweight maclaren. I'd like to take the bugaboo as we're going next month so I'm anticipating it'll be freezing in Vienna, and he's much cosier in that (& sleeps better in it too), but I'm worried that we'll have a nightmare storing it on the trains. Is there much space on the eurostar for stuff like this? Or are we better off taking the maclaren & getting a good cosytoes?

Opinions (& any other tips)appreciated, thanks

Some UK trains (GNER for example) have a buggy area in one of the carriages which can be pre-booked so you can leave the baby in the buggy. It's worth looking into whether your trains abroad do this, though I don't think Eurostar do.

Eurostar do have a "checked baggage" service for large items which you pay a small fee for. You could check your Bugaboo and use that when in Vienna.

It's what I'd do, tbh. I'd rather have the baby comfy and warm. I have a Mountain Buggy and bought a travel case for it so I can check it in when we travel, rather than having to use a stroller on holiday. Then again, my baby is a lot younger.

Since you prob can't seat the baby in the buggy on the train, then provided you can either check the Bugaboo or put it in the guards van, then there's no reason not to take it really...

Also, did you request seats near the baby change area on the train?

Marvellous, will look into that thanks.
Bout the baby being comfy & warm, that's what I feel really, after all he's not asked to go away (although we do hope he'll have a smashing time). So - glad there's a solution!
