Hayling island sandy beach??

Kathyis6incheshigh · 07/10/2007 10:40

Go to Highcliffe, just along from Christchurch. Or Mudeford or Avon Beach anywhere in that area really. (My MIL lives there. It's lovely.)

i really appreciate all your tips by the way! thank you so far

am just trying to cope with 3 manic little people, eat my late brekkie, do this, talk to my mum and think about everything we need to take to the seaside...

Go to Hill Head! It's just past Lee on Solent, just drive along the sea road and Hill Head is there; it's got huge areas of sand (obviously more or less depending on the tide!) but it's always sandy, and it's lovely. It's not too far from Romsey way and the traffic is pretty good round this way on a Sunday.

NappiesLaGore · 07/10/2007 11:20

oh yay!
thank you - sounds just the job
