Ok, not nearly anywhere but anywhere in South Wales, The Midlands, Manchester or London. I'm thinking about a child friendly/centred show, like the Gruffalo or Annie. Can't get tickets for Mary Poppins. She will be 6.
TIA

Lazy Town

lazy town dates

corblimeycharlie · 05/10/2007 21:13

Thanks HST - DD is in school in Wales (not to rub it in) during the London dates and then we will need to wait 'til Jan before the next shows. Would have been perfect as both lo's are going through a Lazytown phase at the mo.

Do the Birmingham dates suit?

corblimeycharlie · 05/10/2007 21:36

Sadly no, need something for this coming half term, 29th Oct - 2nd Nov.

Where do you wish you were BTW?

Brecon.

I do realise that is not really the sort of place that most normal people would aspire to be but I do miss the Beacons...

On the other hand, I love where I live now (we hardly ever need to use the car etc etc etc) but I do miss mountains...

corblimeycharlie · 05/10/2007 21:46

Brecon is a lovely town. I'm in Neath, not a lovely town but home none the less. I'm often travelling the edges of the Beacons off to Ceredigion for work and I just love the trip. Such a treat after years of living in Manchester which is a fine town but doesn't really do scenery.

I used to know Neath quite well. My mother's family came from Baglan/Margam and we used to visit some aged relation in Neath.

English dh unbearably smug about the rugby...for now. He'll be laughing on the other side of his scrum cap tomorrow after they've been stuffed by the Aussies . Ha!

Good luck with dd's birthday.

corblimeycharlie · 05/10/2007 21:55

Yes, English DH here too and just as smug. Although he also does the "not really bothered about Rugby - Football is my sport" the minute England crash out of a tournament. Grrrr
