Pls tell me your favourite Greek island and why?!

Hi all,

We are Mallorca people and love more traditional resorts with pretty beaches, squares and narrow winding streets.

Never been to the Greek islands...any info or recommendations would be great!

We have a little one (will be 10) with some special needs - she can be lively! 😬

Halki is my choice, small (population of 200 out of season), but not for everyone. One hotel, no swimming pool (well, one but belongs to a private villa) no nightclubs, nightlife all but over by 11:00pm, difficullt(ish) to get to. But tranquil, friendly and very pretty. Rural, so food etc is ferried in from Rhodes, one ATM that can (and does) run out of money. Very few places take credit cards.

But, watching the local and visiting children play "catch" of an evening, or watching the fishermen unload their catch and shell their prawns of a morning is a joy.

Halki and Tilos now added to my island hop lists!
