Would I be mad to book a 2021 holiday?

I desperately want to book something- Dominican Republic for April. But with this ever changing world we are in at the moment I feel this might be foolish !

I know everyone will say wait and book in a couple of months but I am so impatient!

Hate that we cant plan for more than a few weeks ahead at the moment.

I’ve just booked flights to Bali in July 2021. Part of me thinks it will never happen, but I really enjoy planning and the anticipation of holidays. I think our flights are changeable so I’m just going to book refundable hotels.

Im not booking anything for 2021 yet. I booked flights to the US with Virgin in Dec 2019 to travel in July 2020. Obviously Virgin cancelled the flights. Im still waiting for the £9,000 I paid in Dec to be refunded and it could take up to another 4 months.
Personally, its been such a pain having to claim back parking, hotels, tickets etc that Im not doing anything until things are more certain.
