Has anyone ever had problems flying with a "spotty" child ??

My 3 year DD was diagnosed with molluscum last Friday. At that point, the horrid spots/blisters were few, and not on her face, but she now has several on her hairline and neck (am desperately reading through all previous MNet molluscum threads for treatment & "cures").

Anyway ..... we are flying to Cyprus on Wednesday and I'm concerned that an over officious airline person (or maybe passport person) - if they notice this - may think she's got chicken pox and refuse to let us fly.

I guess the obvious answer is to try and get something in writing from my GP before we go (but you know how it is when you have a 1001 things to do before a holiday).

I was wondering if anyone's ever been challenged about a "lurgified" child (understandably if they have something contagious) and what the procedure is ? Could they argue about a doctor's note - surely not ?

I used to work for an airline, and have seen families with children turned away (even as late as them getting through all the other checks, and then being 'removed' from the plane). It was really distressing.
I would advise Dr note if you can get one to state the condition etc - for peace of mind if nothing else
