Website looks very good. Apparently they've got various endangered species there. BUT according to a friend's friend, they get all Creationist in the signage about the animals. ie, God not evolution, we didn't come from monkeys, etc.

Has anyone been? Is it a good day out? Do they try to brain wash you?

Can't say I noticed any God and evolution stuff. It is good, they have a big indoor play place, but it gets a bit rough sometimes so not fantastic for smaller ones

It is very good and a lovely day and you can avoid the religious stuff, you won't get into a cult or anything. I think it's a really lovely low key (in that it isn't huge organise theme park place) day out. Really, children don't much care about the signage, they just want to go on the tractor and stroke the goats ime. That's unless it's changed since I was last there (couple of years). I liked it. And no, they don't brain wash you.

Large play barns
goats
chicks
tractor rides
not too horribly commercial

Well my boy's six and frankly they can preach what they like, we wouldn't take any notice. I ask because a friend was considering taking her step kids there (3, 5 and 7) and she's more likely to get wound up by that kind of thing. She's got very excited because they have a particular type of gibbon there () but she's also concerned that she hadn't heard of them before and that the conditions for the animals might not be up to scratch. She's easily distressed... Did you see anything a bit off?

Actually, with regards to the creationist bit, I might even find it quite interesting to see what they say on the subject.

Nah, nothing worrying on tghe animal looking after front. They have a room devoted to The Ark iirc.
