Right me and my mom are planning (if i ever save the money), to take Dd1 and 2 to disneyland paris next year at about end of feb, beginning of march ish.

I am finding it all very confusing though.

We were going to go on a coach with Leger holidays where we would get 1st child free place and so it would cost me about 350 for me and one dd. I have heard though that in the hotel Santa Fe you don't get coffee/tea making stuff which we do want so we would have to upgrade at another 17 pounds a night for 4 nights.
With Ledger coach and ferry travel are all included in price.

I am also considering going with Cresta holidays as with them you get a child free with every paying adult so both dd's would be free.
With them a 4 night break travelling on eurostar would be 370.
I would then though have to pay for travel to where ever it is i get the eurostar from and i think this would be exspensive.

As you can tell i don't really travel anywhere and haven't got a clue what i should be looking for or anything.

Any advice about which way to travel, which hotel to book e.t.c would be a great help.

Hi nutcracker
Have you looked at booking with Disney direct? We have used them for our forthcoming trip and they were v reasonable. I was surprised at that!
Maybe someone else has some tips - but I would say the DLP website is a good starting point. Hope you get sorted!

Strange that it costs 17 pounds a night for cofee making equipment - that makes 68 pounds total - you should just bring your own in your luggage! Maybe the cost includes more upgrade than just coffee, but still ...!

Thanks guys.

I did have a look at booking with disney direct but will look again properly.

It doesn't actually say that you get coffee/tea making facilites in any of the hotels but i'm sure someone on here said you def don't get them in Santa fe.

Right booking with Disney direct is 604.00 for two adults and two free children.

That doesn't include travel though (i don't think as it didn't mention it). So how much would that cost me ??????????

Oh that was in the Sequoia lodge by the way.

We've booked with Disney direct for this October half term (yippee!!) but we are taking the car on the train. When we were looking to book though I did a search for eurodisney holidays and there were loads of companys doing all inclusive deals for great prices. Why don't you google and see if you can better the Leger price that you've had? How about teletext too, just in case you can't find anything online... Good luck

We went in Sept and I booked Eurostar tickets directly with Eurostar - they cost £99 return and children under 4 travel free (ds1 was a week off 4 so we didn't have to pay for the kids travel).

They could possibly be even cheaper in Feb? in fact I saw an offer of 2 for 1 travel in Saturdays Telegraph with Eurostar - details
short break travel Mon-Thur 2 for £58 (promotional fare?) or Fri - Sun travel 2 for £98. There are limited seats etc etc sorry just saw that travel is before 16 Dec (not half term). You can check prices on their website or phone on 08701610110 (passwords for above offer cheese, shopping, indulge)

Anyway I saw a tip on here about booking with holiday inn disneyland paris so we stayed there I think our rate was 98 euros per night but this included buffet breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids I could have got around 78euros without breakfast. We did have to catch the bus to disneyland approx 5-10mins but the buses are free and come every 10 mins or so. We also bought park tickets at the hotel.

You don't get tea/coffee making in Sequoia Lodge either, although iirc you can hire stuff from Reception (I even had to borrow a hairdryer as it wasn't in the room when we arrived). You can buy a travel kettle for less than a tenner and take your own stuff.

Is the £604 for you all in one room ? We realised when we looked at the Disney brochure that you end up paying the same per room in total regardless of how it split out ie. if you have a reduced price for kids, the adults end up paying more - this may not be true of any actual "free kids" offers which they run in the off season. There is usually one in the run up to Easter.

We stayed in the hotel Cheyenne(sp) which was v. good. I dbl and 2 bunk beds in the room, and tea facilities. Did get a bus to the park though, as it was quite a long walk (15 mins or so). Dds were 3 & 5 at the time. If you do decide on the Eurostar one, look at coach travel from Digbeth(?). DM lives in Streetly & used that for trip to London recently, said it was v convenient & v cheap compared to trains. Lots of special offers on also.
