Thinking of goin to Thailand next year with dh and ds who will be just 4 when we go, have any mumsnetters been there and can recommend hotels, villas etc, thinking of a couple of days in Singapore and a couple of days in Kuala Lumpar then on to Phuket for a week...and did you book flights and accommodation separately or via travel agent? Any advice welcome

The rooms start at £25 a night and go up to over £100 for a family suite right in front of the sea. The rooms are really amazing.

Hi,

I'm a Singaporean living in Dubai and used to live in Thailand, love Singapore & Bangkok.

Buying tickets from Dubai to any part of Asia is very expensive. You might want to buy a return ticket to Singapore and get your Thailand tickets from ValueAir or Tiger Airways, they're new budget airlines in Singapore. Tiger Airways has a S$28 one way deal to Bangkok, so there may be other deals to KL & Phuket.

Another travel agent in Singapore is www.chanbrothers.com, reliable and do great packages within Asia.

Oh, and the holiday packages include accommodation and prices will vary depending on what rating the hotel is.

The Headland villas are pretty good in Koh Samui.
