Has anyone been, which vaccinations did you get? I had an appointment with an advisor yesterday and she gave me a long list of recommended ones! We're staying mainly in cities with a couple of short stays in rural areas.

I'm confused Confused

I have been several times and ime South Korea is a very clean country with vg infrastructure and, I assume, vg healthcare. I didn’t see stray animals roaming the streets and restaurants and hotels were all very clean.
I live in China so have had every vaccination going so did not do any specific research for travel to South Korea. For travel in general I would ensure all childhood vaccinations are up to date and also add hep B and typhoid.

Also consider Japanese encephalitis if going to a rice-growing area in spring or summer.

Thank you, we're going in April, but not to a rice growing area. I was thinking we'd have the rabies vaccine plus tetanus boosters.

This is a link from the government page on travel vaccinations. Www.travelhealthpro.org.uk. It gives you all the relevant info for the country and your circumstances.

You are welcome. If you need the travel clinic via your GP, contact them ASAP. Mine takes ages to get appointments! 6-8 weeks.

Might be a bit late for rabies as is 3 shots over a month or so, so better get your skates on.

Worth having the free ones as well.
