Help me find an all inclusive holiday please

Hi all I've been searching for a holiday for over a month now and still not booked. I just can't seem to find what I want. There will be 2 adults and dd10, we'd like all inclusive, 7 nights to any country but I'm not too sure about how safe it is to go to Turkey this year. Rather not go to Tunisia or Egypt as we were so ill in the past it's put us off. As close to a beach as can get and ideallly not over £1600. Is it possible? Flying from Manchester, Birmingham, East Midlands or Liverpool. Thanks in advance. Another annoying thing is paying for hold bags separately

When do you want to go?

BigBairyHollocks · 02/02/2020 09:31

Tui goes from East Midlands to Holiday Village Seaview Ibiza which I would highly recommend.Need dates for the price though.

NewNameGuy · 02/02/2020 09:34

We booked tui to majorca, looks really nice

louisethedisease · 02/02/2020 09:35

19/20 July departure dates please

Have you looked on Jet2holidays? I can find several holidays within your budget on those dates including luggage and transfers. Not necessarily great reviews, but would be fine if you're happy with cheap and cheerful!

EveryDayIsLikeMonday · 02/02/2020 10:26

Btw, the other option us to find a holiday you like and then see if you can do it cheaper by booking independently. Obviously you then have to factor in transfers and luggage but I often save money doing it that way.

welshweasel · 02/02/2020 10:36

Is that £1600 for the 3 of you? All inclusive in school holidays? I’d either up your budget or look to book somewhere self catering.

Hinchunup · 02/02/2020 10:50

Maybe you should consider waiting for a last minute package deal, as long as you don't mind where you go. Personally I prefer the independent route and have saved hundreds over the years. Look at sky scanner, kiwi, mimodo for flights. Tripadvisor for accommodation and book directly with hotel if possible. Transfers are easily arranged via local providers and often cheaper by taxi. Good luck

featherquilt · 02/02/2020 11:03

You need loveholidays.com, filter by tripadvisor reviews as they seem to vary widely.

I'm actually surprised how many options there are in that price range!

featherquilt · 02/02/2020 11:04

Do you need hold bags for 7 days beach holiday? We've found it so freeing to travel light!

MsDivine89 · 02/02/2020 11:05

Hi op. I dont think you would get what your lookong for at that budget.

I just looked at a hotel in benedorm (i know...but its near the old town has fab kids entertainment splash pool. Clean and gorgeous food) which we went to last year and going back this year and it was over 2k. Other simmilar hotels were the same. I would go with pp suggestions and look last minute

leccybill · 02/02/2020 11:09

That is school hols and height of season so you're looking at £2200+ for anywhere with half decent reviews and decent food.
We are 2 adults and DD10 too and usually pay £3k for 10 days in August in 4*All Inc in Greece or Croatia.

louisethedisease · 02/02/2020 11:12

Thanks everyone I'll keep looking. I like the easy jet site, that factors in bags and transfers altogether. Would a 4* trip advisor hotel be ok do you think?

OP posts:
EveryDayIsLikeMonday · 02/02/2020 22:35

I've always been happy with 4+ on TA. I've stayed at some 3 and 3.5s too but they tended to be more basic or in a less desirable location.

blue25 · 02/02/2020 22:40

That’s a small budget for summer holidays.

All inclusive at that price isn’t going to be good quality!

BarbaraofSeville · 03/02/2020 09:51

Have you looked on jet2holidays to see if there is anything with a free child place?

I too wouldn't go AI for that price, but maybe B&B in a hotel where you get a kitchenette, so you can store drinks, ice creams etc from the supermarket and have easy food like bread, ham, cheese, olives etc and plan on eating out once a day.

Overall should cost around the same as cheap/mid range AI but the food and experience will be much nicer than queuing up at a buffet three times a day.

louisethedisease · 03/02/2020 19:41

I've looked on jet2 yes but nothing caught my fancy.

We've stayed in the los zocos resort in Lanzarote twice and loved it. But I'm not sure you would get it for that price. We fly with tui

Mumof1andacat · 03/02/2020 19:47

We have stayed at the Los zocos resort hotel in Lanzarote twice. We really like it. We fly and book with tui. I'm not sure you'll get it for that price though

BarbaraofSeville · 03/02/2020 21:40

I think unfortunately OP, what you want doesn't exist.

Nice AI in the school holidays for £1600 and not in one of the cheaper countries.

Although I wouldn't think twice about going to Turkey. The holiday resorts are miles away from Istanbul or the Syrian border and I can't remember any terrorist attacks against hotels in those coastal areas.

louisethedisease · 04/02/2020 06:57

I've found a number of holidays within the price range for that week all inclusive, just can't decide which one. They are all 4 star on trip advisor as I don't really want any less. There's Tenerife, Lanzarote, Faliraki and Majorca.

BarbaraofSeville · 04/02/2020 07:08

On the subject of hold bags, I would probably take one between the three of you especially if you fly with an airline that only allows 5 or 6 kg of hand luggage.

Either put your suncream in the checked bag or buy it at boots after security at the airport as it is almost always very expensive abroad.

louisethedisease · 04/02/2020 11:38

I read that you can pre order toiletries to collect at the airport from boots, thought that was a good idea and they can go in clear bag I believe and not count as hand luggage.

Try Tui, family friendly, to Croatia.

We went there last year with just us 2 and DS14 - amazing value for money and DS even had his own room (inter connecting doors). By far the best room set up we've ever come across. We went to Rabac.

EveryDayIsLikeMonday · 04/02/2020 19:44

@louisethedisease Faliraki used to be a 'lively' 18-30 type resort. Not sure if it still is.
