Paris one night/day stopover with car

My daughter is desperate to see the Eiffel Tower and we thought we could go via (I know it is rather out of the way!!!) Paris on our way home from skiing in the Easter holidays. We would have a Saturday night/Sunday full day and would need somewhere for 2 adults and 2 children to stay with secure parking and if (as I expect) on the outskirts near to train metro line.
Anyone done similar/have recommendations?
Thanks!

What about somewhere like this ? It's close to the peripherique on the right side of Paris approaching from the Alps, and close to the Place d'Italie metro. Ibis Styles have family rooms (I think this one has 'apartments' you can rent for a family) and the price includes breakfast. There's also indoor parking although I suspect it's not exclusive for the hotel and would be payable, so I wouldn't leave any ski gear in your car. If you want to visit the Eiffel Tower I suggest you book lift tickets in advance; alternatively, if your kids are of a suitable age you can just turn up and buy a 'walk-up' ticket and take the stairs. You can walk as far as the 2nd level and then buy tickets there for the lift to the top.

We have dropped in on Paris on the way back from skiing. We skied on the Saturday and drove to Beaune that evening. Got up early on Sunday drove to Paris, parked in the street (for free) next to friends who live five mins walk from the Eiffel Tower. Had plenty of time for lunch with them and going up Eiffel Tower. Then drove to Calais and got Eurotunnel home (had flexiplus ticket which helped). Back in Home Counties around 10pm! If you didn’t want to ski on the Saturday you could go to Paris that day and stay somewhere like Issy les moulineax in a Novotel....and get metro to the sights from there. I think you will need to get an environmental vignette for your car..inexpensive. Only drawback I would say is driving round Paris can be stressful but it was much easier on a Sunday. Best to use peripherique to get back to A1 rather than driving through the centre.

Thank you both really useful suggestions!
