Would be very grateful for your suggestions. We love walking, music, eating, galleries, history and have 5 days there in February staying very central. Luckily, we love cold, wintry cities at this time of year.

You're bound to go to Wenceslas Square at some point. When you're there you MUST go to Vytopna Railway restaurant! Your drinks are brought to you onboard a miniature railway train which weaves on a network of railway lines around the restaurant and even across your table. We were fascinated by the tunnels, drawbridges, ponds etc...The food is mostly pasta and pizza, reasonably priced and there’s a good view over the square.
Prague Zoo is forgotten by some city guides, but is certainly worth a visit. It is a few kilometres from the city centre. A chairlift runs within the zoo. From the top there are views over the outskirts of Prague.
Black Light Theatre shows are highly visual, and children enjoy the dancing and the lights and sounds.
Watch the amazing Astronomical Clock performance on the hour.
The Funicular Railway up Petrin Hill is good fun in itself. At the top are landscaped gardens and several attractions including an observation tower and a hall of mirrors.

Yes to the funicular and observation tower
Kafka museum
The church with baby Jesus and all his outfits - can't remember the name but it will be in the guide books
Modern art gallery

I haven’t been to Prague. But I heard there’s a really good Waterpark

Prague is a good walking city. The centre is quite compact. You can do the traditional walk over the Charles Bridge and up to the castle, which is well worth a tour.

For drinking - Beer! Gambrinus 12° is my favourite.

The food is nothing to write home about, but if you like dumplings, or fried cheese, it's the place to be!

Czech (!) out the Rudolphinum for the best concerts, but Prague is a very musical city, and there are many smaller venues which will have concerts on.

History is all around. A walk (or tram) up to Vyšehrad is worth doing, to see the monuments and the views of the Vltava and Prague.

Also, if you want to go and drink beer, walk 10 minutes out of the city centre. The bars will be a bit more spit and sawdust, but the beer will be a quarter of the price of the centre, and the people will be friendlier, and less looking to rip you off.

Just remembered that we liked the castle too.

Went a few years ago and had a fab time
Walked a lot and also used the trams and underground
Visited the south tower at the cathedral, did a boat trip
It was beginning of January so there were still the Christmas markets and spent a lot of time sitting outside drinking beer, the weather was chilly but very sunny and the bars have heaters and blankets
Can't remember all the places that we visited but enjoyed a meals and drinks here

We went to a concert in a palace inside the Castle halfway through our castle day, went on an informative and enjoyable river boat trip, a fun medieval night in Lesser Town, an amazing meal at Kampa Park restaurant, a coach trip to a Medieval village called Kuta Hora, walked over various bridges and went to a few museums, went up the clock tower, visited the Monastery and had lunch up there looking at the incredible views. It was a lovely trip.
