Disneyland Paris

Thinking of visiting Paris for a week at Easter. Just wondered if it is possible to book any of the Disney hotels for 3 nights but just book passes for 2 days? This package is not coming up on their website. The best flight locally gets in at 6pm to CDG so ideally I would like to get checked in that night then be up early ready for the parks the next day.

Or would it be reasonable just to travel from the centre of Paris on two separate days? Would prevent having to pack up again which I don't particularly like on holiday. Plus I'd rather spend as much time in Paris itself! Seem to be shuttles and public transport options available. Or would this ruin the vibe a bit?

Children are 11 and 8. Never done any Disney or large scale theme parks before but would love to do it once.

Thanks for any pearls of wisdom.

Sorry I mean 2 nights in DLP hotels and passes for 2 days only. It defaults to 3 days on website.

Ie. Arrive Sunday night, check in, park on Monday, hotel Monday night, checkout Tues morning then park all day Tuesday. Any left luggage options?

You can book one night 2 days package and then book an extra night room only but all the offers start at 2 nights/3 days
I think you can book 2 nights 2 days at villages nature hotel and then just add on an extra night.
Or the other partner hotels you book tickets and stay separately so they are an option. They have free shuttles to the parks each day.

I would definitely do a hotel there for two night. I think you automatically get the park tickets included with a Disney hotel, so you get the three days, two park, hopper style tickets. Also in a Disney hotel ( and possibly a couple of partner hotels, you get EMH so can get int he parks at around 8.30am)

Thank you for making sense of my confusing posts!

Is Villages Nature okay kiabella?

All Disney packages include tickets for the entire duration of your stay, so even if you arrive at 6pm you’ll have tickets for that day. There’s loads to do and see, and two parks to explore, both of which have stuff going on into the evening at Easter. The main one is open until 10/11pm and often later at weekends.
If you really do only want 2 days park passes you could look at booking Villages Nature (CentreParcs) It’s a ten minute shuttle bus from the Disney parks and they include 2 days passes as standard.
Watch out for train strikes as they have caused a lot of chaos for people - we went last Summer when strikes were on and it took around an hour and three changes to get from central Paris to Disney.

Each hotel had a left luggage service, but there are also great lockers at the Marne la Valee train station which is a short walk from the Disney park entrance. The lockers come in different sizes, we fitted 2 suitcases and 2 lots of hand luggage in one for €6 and still had room to spare

EffieIsATrinket · 27/12/2019 11:29

Villages Nature don't allow Sunday check in it seems.

I guess I just have to think of the Disney passes as free as part of the hotel booking rather than that I'm wasting a day's worth!

Yes, VN bookings are all Mon to Fri or Fri to Mon, I think.
You could look at an off site hotel such as Explorers or Magic Circus, and then book tickets through attractiontix or similar.
The closest off site hotels have free shuttle buses and are bookable direct, through Disney or on booking.com.
There are a few great Facebook groups which will help your planning-

Disneyland Paris for Brits
There’s also one for people with disabilities and special needs.

Thank you - joined the first group you mentioned - looks like everything I could possibly need to know will be covered there!

It’s a great group so yes it probably will be, but feel free to message me or post here too- we’ve been there 5 times now and have driven, flown and gone via Eurostar. We’ve also stayed both on and offsite so know it pretty well!
I always find the planning part a huge bit of the fun :)

DLP have a good offer on at the moment if you book by 29/12 - free full or half board , 10-20% off and a gift card for the shops . I’ve just booked to take my daughter for her 21st , we’ve not been this year and it’s the first time we’ve missed a year since the place opened .

ShiningTor · 03/01/2020 21:44

@Floralnomad with your DLP knowledge is that a decent offer? Am looking to book for September this year.
