Paris/Disneyland between Christmas and new year

I'm debating booking a trip to Paris between Christmas and new year, or maybe immediately after new year before the schools go back for us and DD. May include a day at Disneyland.
Has anyone done this and if so you have any recommendations?
Also we have a fully electric car so, if we drove (were c4.5 hrs from Folkestone) we could get there just for the cost of the tunnel, which is next to nothing. Is this a foolish idea??

We went between Christmas and New Year, many years ago. Everything was very Christmassy but I remember it being busy and bone-numbingly cold, especially when queuing for rides. Make sure you have super warm clothing. We all had a great time though 😉

We have done Disney at Christmas a few times and that week is their busiest of the year. You’ll need to be organised, grab fast passes etc but it’s a lot of fun

We did this last year, it was not a great experience!! But that was my fault! Did not realise it would be that busy and didn’t buy fast passes in advance so when we got there (at the exact opening time) they were sold out! We managed 4 rides in about 6 hours, it just wasn’t worth all the queuing. So if you go, invest in buying fast passes earlier and make sure you priories what you want to go on and run and book your slots! I’d take food too as those queues were unbelievable too.

You don’t have to buy fast passes. They are free but you can buy a pass for a day if needed. At that time of year I would do it for just a day.

Look at crowd calendars. The parks will both be mobbed.

That doesn’t make sense! Everyone can get free fast passes from the machines with return times. You can only have one at a time though.

You can also buy fast passes to use all day with out the one at a time restriction.

What the hell? Honestly, what do you buy online then that are advertised as ‘fast passes’? Well I really did mess up then didn’t I?!!!

Thanks everyone, great advice
