Hey beautiful ladies,
Me and hubby are thinking of going lake district for the weekend,
at which stage I will be 34 weeks pregnant!

Windermere is the place where we would be staying, and we loooooove walking and enjoying the nature.
I was hoping maybe you'd be so kind to give some advice, recommended routes, places to see , things to do ? - All by public transport or walking please as we are not taking the car.

I look forward to hearing from you!

How much of a walk are you up to at the moment? At that stage my main limitation was the amount of time between loos!

I think I could have managed Orrest Head from Windermere.

Will it be winter time? There have been quite a few roads closed around the area due to flooding this weekend, snow, ice and wind can cause travel issues in the area too. As you won't have a car you'd need an ambulance if you needed to get to hospital and they would take you to either Barrow or Lancaster which are both a bit of a trek.

I'd probably choose a city break with more opportunities for toilet stops!

How far from home will you be in the Lake District? I know things can varying, but public transport, miles from home in an area prone to flooding, early snow etc, doesn't sound the wisest of plans for a very pregnant lady.

I agree with tweedle - stay closer to home and toilets
