Ours' are a bit younger (8 and 11) and we are thinking about inter railing up through Belgium, Germany and Denmark and ending with a week on the Stockholm archipelago.

I reckon Boston and Cape Cod would be fun if they like history/ outdoorsy stuff, or even up to Acadia.

Easter break - Hamburg to see grandparents

May half term - Universal Orlando

Summer - 10 days south of Granada, mix of Granada and beach

Not everything booked yet but times are fixed so we better get booking.

I am currently researching for a Safari in a year or two so if anyone as any recommendations... Has to be Summer holiday or earlier, DD will have her GCSEs if we do the later option.

We did Slovenia Lake Bled this last summer and it was an amazing holiday. This summer we’re doing a road trip down the length of Italy, starting in the Dolomites and working our way down through Tuscany and Rome to the Almafi Coast. Taking my parents with us!

We tend to do our big trips outside of the summer holidays as prices, crowds, and heat are so much more manageable. We are in Cairo at the moment for October half term and it is amazing! Weather is perfect, not overcrowded and an empty pool at the resort. We’re planning some other Middle East adventures for the October and Feb breaks. Easter is a good time to take two weeks and go further afield to somewhere like Thailand or the Mexico I think. Summer is hurricane season in the Caribbean!
