Las Vegas with an under 21 - hotel issues?

Looking at a trip to Las Vegas next year with my DD who will be 19 at the time. I know she won't be allowed to drink or gamble but we've decided that there will be enough to keep us occupied.

Having a look at hotels and every one I've looked at says min check in age 21. Even 'family friendly' hotels like circus circus. Has anyone been with an under 21 without issues? Also for going to shows etc is this likely to cause problems too?

Any tips and advice welcome Smile

No problem at all - I got married last year in Vegas and my brother and sister (then 18 and 16) had no problems whatsoever in hotels and with checking in.

@SwiftAnchor I've stayed at New York, New York twice and it's lovely. They do charge a $25 per day fee to have a fridge put in your room, however, if you are on any medication then mention this (don't need to specify what) and it miraculously becomes free!

I stayed at the Flamingo with my son and we did two weeks 😂
Flamingo has the Best location as it’s slap in the middle of the strip and right on the linq walk area where there are literally loads of bars restaurants

your within 5 mins walks of the Venetian Caesar’s and Bellagio hotels and malls and you have the Vegas Eye and absolutely loads of places to eat and drink
You also get free access to the pool at The Paris and the Cromwell hotel and a few others in the caesars chain of hotels if you show your room card
The pool at the flamingo is always really lively as it’s geared up for young adults so really good fun

The Go Pool is great very lively
We had a room with twin beds and lovely walk in bathroom excellent air con and a fridge

Don’t forget that whatever the price you pay in thr uk to add on the hotel resort tax which is around $40 dollars a day
All the hotels have this so you can’t get away from not paying it
Also while the New York Hotel is nice it’s much further down the strip
Also whenever we bought anything and paid by card we had to show ID
We had an absolute ball and did loads of stuff
