Holiday teenagers mid July 2020

Any holiday recommendations please for mid July 2020? We’ll be going with our 16 and nearly-15yo girl and boy. The DC will be happiest with some sort of not overly competitive sporty and or social stuff, not just watersports etc. We like nice food, nice bottle of wine, to chill, read, nice scenery and happy if the kids are happy and enjoying themselves.
We haven’t done AI for many years usually do aparthotel or private let as we like a change of scene and venturing out to different restaurants and bars on an evening.
A lot of the bedroom sleeping arrangements are vague and don’t want a sofa bed option or for an adult to share bed with a child etc. We don’t want to drive as DH drives a lot to and from work.
Max budget if AI 4.5 K for mid July but less if aparthotel b & b or private let.
Any recommendations of type of holiday, resort, company how best to book to save money and what worked or didn’t work.
Wondered about Croatia, Algarve, Slovenia, Cyprus or similar. Never previously fancied Turkey but wondered as the water slides look good but not sure if temperature too hot and quality of food facilities etc.
Would like somewhere with a cooling sea breeze.
Thanks

How about an Adriatic cruise? We did this when DC were teens and they loved it. Just enough sightseeing but with lots of activities and pools on board to keep them interested. It's also safe so they can disappear and do their own thing.
If you go before school holidays you might get something for your budget.
Actually just realised you need three bedrooms / cabins. That would bump the cost up considerably.

We've got kids the same age. We are planning on taking the youngest out of school 3 days early as the eldest will have already finished GCSEs. That's making the prices a little cheaper. Everything looks so expensive for next year. We are like you and have moved away from AI and packages into self catering in recent years. We thought we might like to do a package again next year but struggling with cost (our budget lower than yours). We've now decided to drive, which we've never done, and visit some.places including theme parks on the continent. That's all by the by though. I was really coming on to say that turkey is gorgeous and food amazing when we went. Have a look at Letoonia hotel. Don't know if bedrooms would work but it's gorgeous. Love holidays were coming up cheapest for everything when I was pricing things up a few weeks ago. You definitely get more for your money in Turkey. Also look at going half board and mess about with length of stay. 10 nights or even 13 nights are interesting to try. Also a little aside, my sister was in villamoura on the Algarve this summer and said eating out was very reasonable and a travel agent I know is just back from Corfu (don't know where) and said eating out was the cheapest she had ever known anywhere.

Turkey is wonderful and there are lots of different resorts so you would certainly find something to suit.

We go there a lot and book a villa or stay in an apartment as we love going out to different restaurants. Turkish food is amazing and very reasonably priced too. I personally would do AI in Turkey as it's so much nicer not to be restricted to a hotel.

Have a look at the Bodrum Peninsula, it's beautiful there.
