We’re off to south of France this week for a wedding and staying on a few extra days as holiday/baby moon. I’m now 25 weeks pregnant and have been happily looking forward to a week of sun but am now dreading it more than anything. I’ve been doing some research for places to go/eat as a pregnant lady and keep getting bombarded with warnings of toxoplasmosis being rife and how strictly French women are screened due to the high risks of causing pregnancy complications/huge risk to unborn baby. Does anyone have any advice/reassure me they’ve been themselves and everything has been fine? I was aware of the risks of unpasteurized cheese/undercooked meats and obviously alcohol too but I’m now worrying about fruit, vegetables and water!
