Travel with 4 month old, advice?!

Hello!
I sincerely apologise if this is repetitive but my anxiety is getting the better of me. So, my husband, 4 month old and I are flying to Poland to meet his family.
Little bit of background info: we're flying with Ryanair with him on our lap, he is breastfed, we're allowed a nappy bag plus change bag and are checking in a bag.Equipment wise, We are planning only to take his pram with cat seat attachment and a carrier. We are also renting a car once in Poland. We plan a road trip to Prague and will be going out doing touristy stuff too.

I just feel really anxious and would love some tips, advice and good stories (as well as some bad) so I can plan ahead. I'd appreciate hearing how your babies were when out of routine, how the plane was with him In your lap, how they settled when not in their own cots, how you packed for 2 weeks..also if you could point me in the right direction for how to dress for nursing baby but looking half decent...as I'm living in the same outfits and they don't make me feel particularly attractive!

So sorry for the long winded post...but long story short: give me any advice on going abroad with a 4 month old please!

I'd be tempted to practice with long days out. Does he sleep in the carrier?

I flew long haul with dd at 7 weeks, it was fine. Just realise that you won't be able to as much as in previous visits but otherwise babies are super portable. Never dealt with Ryan air but you do get an extra bag for the baby.

We've done plenty day trips here and there I the uk, he always manages to sleep in the car, carrier, pram etc. It's when the motion stops that's the problem! I'm more concerned with what to pack and getting through the airport since in the past its sent my anxiety sky high, let alone with a baby. Thank god my husband is MUCH more level headed than me.

Just came back from holiday with DD4 and DD3m, it was a perfect holiday, my girls made it so easy for us. For flight, you have seatbelt extender, baby slept in arms for take off and only woke up towards the end of the flight for a feed. We took our sleepyhead on holiday, so babe slept like normal and I breastfed on demand as usual.

I love Asos for nursing /maternity clothes, I go for tops that I can pull up rather than take down, so the extra material covers everything. A lot of my normal clothes work great. Hope you have a lovely holiday OP!

Away to Google sleepyhead. Yes! Pulling up tops feel much more discreet, I'll definitely check them out! Thanks 😚

Taken a few flights when the DCs were young. Have baby sucking on a dummy or feeding for take off/landing to ease the pressure in his ears. May want to pack an extra top for you and DH in case baby gets you messy at the airport/on the flight.
