If I give you £25,000, will you design me a fantasy year of fab family holidays please?

So, we have been lucky enough to come into some cash and I am going to spend the whole lot on a year of fab holidays.
Me, DH and 3 DC 8, 11,13. We all like swimming, cycling, walking, messing about in creeks, crabbing, sightseeing, eating, mooching about. We do a bit of beach but would go barmy lying in the sun all day. I am thinking skiing and sailing or windsurfing might be an option. Best holidays we have had have been Norfolk (for the creeks!), Isle of Wight, Road Trip in the USA, Princess Yaiza was a lovely luxury one off (kids loved it but cold pools for me!). We don't like being too hot.

I’m with the poster who suggested Alaska on page 1.

How about hiring a landrover with a roof tent and doing a self drive in somewhere like Namibia/Zimbabwe. We did Zimbabwe when our kids were small but not sure what it's like now. Ours were 10 and 7, they are now upper 20s but its still their all time favourite. We did a couple of the Explore family trips too and they were great - Egypt & Morocco. Youngest is still in touch with a couple of kids he met on the Morocco trip.

Wow, Zimbabwe, Egypt and Morocco are all places that make me a bit nervous now (but I actually lived in 2 of them in my 20 s)

We did a month in Australia. Started in Perth (meh), drove to Margaret River (fab), flew to Cairns, then down to Sydney, trip to Berry, back to Bondi Beach... with five people that would probably eat your £25k pretty quick.
