How to holiday as family of 7?

Hi. We’re a blended family of 7 - 2 adults and 5 teenagers! We want to book a family holiday next year ideally to a water park hotel in Greece. Is anyone aware of any hotels that have rooms or apartments that cater for such a large group? I assume we’d have to book 2 rooms and have 1 adult in each with a selection of kids, but this isn’t ideal - it’s our holiday too! Any suggestions welcome.....

Self catering normally gives a better range of options for larger families. (Some will still do all inclusive)
Alternatively a villa would be good too, your own pool etc

You need a villa.
And a minibus.
Book both well in advance.
Have fun!

Look on clickstay and homeaway, you can then filter by number of people/bedrooms/bathrooms etc you want

you can filter numbers on airbnb as well if you want. have a look at ocean elements in vasiliki. Its a water sports centre with sailing, windsurfing etc that is part board with great teens club. they have some triple rooms there. we put teens and children in the triples and had a double between them ourselves which worked well. depends on the ages but if they are teens then being left in a room with you just next door is fine imo,

Apart hotels often have 2 bed apartments with a sofa bed sleeping 6, some may allow an additional rollaway bed or have 3 bedroom places. Try Rhodes for decent prices

We were exactly like you as a blended family growing up - 2 DPs and five DC. We did one hotel holiday when we did a fly/drive around the western US and that involved the three older DC in one room, while the two younger ones shared with the adults. It was pretty shit tbh as someone was always sleeping on the floor ...

The rest of the time we SC and that was much better, but we did need to rent a large vehicle to seat us all. A villa with a pool and enough beds for everyone to sleep comfortably is the way to go if you want everyone to have a good time and a decent night's sleep.
