Easyjet nappy bag

Has anyone traveled recently with Easyjet and taken a nappy bag and hand luggage? I'm flying with my 22 month old and he has no seat so no bag entitlement.

We flew EasyJet this week and used normal nappy bag - it wasn’t checked for size. Website says you need to put it under seat, which we did on the way there but put it in the overhead locker on the way home.

Enjoy your holiday!

I haven’t travelled with them recently, but I did find this online which should help you

EasyJet's Baggage Allowances for Infants and Children
Babies sitting on an adult's lap do not qualify for free cabin baggage, but you can take on board the aircraft, for free, an additional small baby changing bag. This bag must be placed under the seat in front of you and can be no larger than 45 x 36 x 20 cm.

Thanks @MrsKipling16

i fly EJ a lot and you might have an issue. They do have a very strict one hand bag per paid seat policy. Whether or not they strictly enforce it seems to vary a lot though. I used to take a handbag as wrll a cabin bag trolley case and normally was fine, but the odd time I had to stuff it in the case.

Coming back from Europe this week i saw them force a mother to pay 60 eur at the gate because she had a buggy, case and large bag.

Id have thought you'd get away with a small nappy bag though, especially if you can store it under the buggy, but I personally would make sure you can cram it into your cabin bag/case if necessary just in case. I now put my handbag in my rucksack or case and then get it out when on the plane.

@Jammiebammie I found a similar statement but on an independent website. Was this on the easyjet page (I couldn't find it) I wanna be able to point to it if have issues at gate.

Though looking at that sounds like you are actually allowed a small nappy bag (the woman I saw had a massive overflowing one as well as a case)

The information Jammiebammie posted is from the EJ website - if you google “easyJet flying with children” you’ll find loads of really useful info.

We had baby food in jars, plus milk - all allowable even though over the 100ml limit for toiletries, etc. I’d say they are totally child friendly!

If you’re flying from Gatwick, I’d recommend using the family/special assistance security gate as they are well versed in dealing with “child stuff”! It took us a bit longer for the food and milk to be checked, but all was good and pretty stress free.

I flew with my dd constantly on EJ. I’d have my own hand luggage, a buggy i’d check in but take to the gate and her changing bag which was a Skip Hop one. I didn’t ever have problems. HTH.

@Zwippy it was from the easy jet website here
If you scroll down the page and click on ‘children’s cabin bag and hold luggage’ it says under there.
