Just don’t know what to look for...family holiday with 3 kids...help me!

I’m looking at holidays for summer 2020. The kids will be 9,7 and 4. I think I’d like a villa with a pool, and maybe table tennis and pool to keep the boys happy. Within walking distance of a beach with not exactly water sports but a pedalo with a slide has gone down well in the past. A few decent places to eat, although have at least one fussy child who lived off chicken nuggets the whole time we were in Italy on our last holiday. On that previous (caravan park) holiday they loved in the pools with slides, but I wasn’t too taken with the crowds and not bothered about kids clubs or entertainment which is why I was leaning towards a villa. Somewhere we could have a wander round shops, maybe an aqua park for a day trip. So been looking at Balearics, but in school hols it’s looking like £7k for the five of us...That seems like holiday of a lifetime type money, and the places i’m looking at don’t seem like holiday of a lifetime type places! We’ve had holidays in France before where it rained constantly - not fun in a caravan - so want to avoid that. But am I being unrealistic hoping for a holiday in Majorca for under 5 grand?? I can spend hours searching, changing my mind and getting nowhere as I don’t want to spend thousands on a holiday to have bored kids or disappointed parents! I don’t know what to look for any more!

Cruise not P&O, Princess Royal Carribean etc, kids are well catered for

There is no way 7k is not enough for a family of 5. We're a family of 5 going to the US at Christmas for less than that. For that money you could easily go further afield to somewhere like Thailand where school holidays aren't inflating prices so much, just book your flights and accommodation separately. You could get a really nice villa in Koh Samui or Krabi for 2 weeks for 2-3k. Flights will be less than 4K.

Or here, I’ve just had a 3 minute google. Right now with Luxury Escapes you can get a 9 days at a family ultra all inclusive including airport pickups in at a 5 star hotel in Bali for less than £3000. And that’s a super quick google. Flights London to Bali maybe 650/person, but again deals to be had with some research. You could probably get a lot more for a lot less!

I’d recommend - richveintravel.co.uk/ I booked my holiday this summer with them. They can create holidays for any budget. And when our flights were cancelled due to an airline strike they did a really good job of keeping us informed at all times. They stopped us from worrying!

Not sure where you’re travelling from but a Brittany Ferries holiday to Cantabria in Northern Spain might suit. Take the car. Casa in or near Santander. A lot cheaper than £7k!
