She very rarely goes in one now and i would have to buy one for her if we were to tske one.
Would it be worth it ? We will be pretty much staying on site as it's al inclusive ?

yes. if you want to be out in the evening, it is essential i think.

PestoMonster · 25/07/2007 16:36

Definitely, you never know when you want to go somewhere and they may get tired and need a sleep whilst you are out & about. I also found this useful for the same reason in the evenings after dinner, when you want to have a stroll but it is past your dc's bedtime.

SanetJvv · 25/07/2007 16:36

dont you know of someone you can borrow from?

chopster · 25/07/2007 16:37

Im going to. We will be out late at night, be doing a lot of walking and they are going to get tired.

PrincessGoodLife · 25/07/2007 16:38

I was going to answer a definite yes when I saw the thread title (think long warm evening walks along promenade with peaceful sleeping toddler in buggy) BUT since it is all on one site and you would have to buy one, then I would say don't bother. In fact maybe spend the money on outdoor blow-up toys (easy to pack) to keep her busy.
Have a nice holiday.

Check out freecycle.

You will need one - trust me

LilyLoo · 25/07/2007 16:38

i wouldn't really feel happy borrowing one tbh as they get thrown around. Anyone know where i could get a cheap one from ?

FLIER · 25/07/2007 16:39

def yes. can you hire one there though to save you buying one to take?

PrincessGoodLife · 25/07/2007 16:39

in fact, maybe the resort will have a couple you can borrow (or at least they should have if it is a family resort IMO ). Or if it comes to it you may find you can buy a cheap one over there.

wheresthehamster · 25/07/2007 16:40

You might be able to find one in a charity shop for a fiver.

LilyLoo · 25/07/2007 16:41

whats freecycle wth?
Never thought of hiring one how would i find that out ? Would i have to contact the hotel direct ? It's not a package holiday as we have done it ourselves on the net.

FLIER · 25/07/2007 16:41

where are you going? its just that I know there are companies who will do hires from airports, ie mainland spain, majorca and so on. you could pick up from airport and drop off when you are going home

PestoMonster · 25/07/2007 16:41

Mothercare used to do a very basic cheapo one.

LilyLoo · 25/07/2007 16:42

Malta. I know i bet the airport have loads you see piles of them left behind.

when i was looking into hiring one i just searched on yahoo, ie hire+buggy+majorca, or hire+highchair etc etc. In the end we couldn't hire one so bought one to take with us, we weren't a package deal either. but saw quite a few companies who hired out all sorts of baby equipment.

LilyLoo · 25/07/2007 16:44

thanks Flier will look into that then.

google freecycle. register with your surrounding areas. people give unwanted anytings away to prevent it going to the skip. (sofas, tables, TVs, computers, books, clothing etc)
