Hello. Round trip to Toronto, all the way up to Tadoussac visiting different places on the way, inc Kingston. On the way back, we have 2 nights before flying back and I am looking for somewhere around Prince Edward Island (but not Kingston). Can anyone recommend anywhere? We're a family of 4, DC are teens.

Prince Edward Island is lovely, you could easily spend a few days there. Charlottetown is small and walkable . At Cavendish you’ve Anne of Green Gables and at Spry Point the beaches are spectacular. There are different lighthouses and the roads are great for driving on. We had a lovely lunch at the The Prince Edward Island Preserve Restaurant.

If you do mean Prince Edward County then this is lovely and definitely worth a couple of days stay. There's Sandbanks Provincial Park for amazing beaches, loads of wineries to visit, great food and little towns to potter round. Its sort of like the Cornwall of Canada with people decamping from Toronto in the summer.

The Cavendish Region is popular with families because there is so much to do in the area. We stayed atKindred Spirits Country Inn & Cottageswhich is a friendly family-owned resort in the heart of the region next door to Green Gables Heritage Place. It has a variety of cottages available for rent as well as rooms and suites in the old style country inn.We love the easy access to the beautiful red-sand beaches of PEI National Park. There are some walking trails and also a visitors centre and bike hire.

Yes that's what I mean, the one in Ontario. Thanks burrito. Any accommodation recommendation?

I stay with family so haven't personally tried any of the hotels but depending on your budget the Drake Devonshire looked amazing, right on the waterfront with beautiful views and pretty decent food as well. Otherwise there are lots of B&Bs both in the towns and in-between.

Have a wonderful time, we're headed there for a couple of weeks in August and I can't wait!
