Hi, can anyone recommend the best place to find the cheapest flights to the US, a site that can access lots of airlines? Thank you!

Skyscanner

Have a look at flights from Dublin. Even with the separate Ryanair flight and a night in a b&b, I saved £200 on a flight to Las Vegas in peak time.

When you're on Skyscanner don't just put direct flight include indirect flights with one stop. This can be in Dublin then you don't need to pay British tax on long haul flights only on short haul which saves money

Google flights and sign up to Jack's flight club.

Depends if you're prepared to go indirect. I don't think there are really any bargain flights anymore. Where do you want to go?

We are flying Norwegian in the Summer 3.5k for four of us, Iceland air was cheaper by about £800 but I'm not putting myself through that again.

Skyscanner, Kayak & Google flights & clearing your cookies if you go back to a site. Norwegian are offering some great prices as the PP says. Their financial fortunes have been up & down over the last couple of years though so if you book them, worth protecting yourself by booking with a credit card & getting insurance with good scheduled airline failure cover. We've used them a couple of times and are flying to NY in October on Norwegian - sure all will be fine but worth having back up!

I usually use Ryanair or Wizair. They often have seasonal low-cost airlines and you can fly to the states very cheaply. Especially good to fly from Europe. I myself will take a vacation in the states this summer. Fly to Orlando on Ryanair and rent a car here rental24h.com/usa/orlando-airport/enterprise. Next, I think to go on a trip through the nearest states

SJane48S · 10/06/2019 07:22

Eh, neither Ryan or Wizzair fly to the States?!

Daisy03 · 10/06/2019 07:56

Flying indirect through Dublin only saves taxes if your flight begins in Dublin, so you have to buy the UK to Dublin flight separately, so if you do this route make sure you have plenty of time between flights in case anything goes wrong with the first one as your carrier to the US wouldn’t have any responsibility to you in that circumstance.
Just personal opinion but I wouldn’t fly Norwegian, they have too many delays and they’ve had a lot of financial difficulty. I know I’d be insured but my actual time on holiday is far too limited and precious to me

Search the route you want to do on holiday pirates, that's how I discovered Singapore airlines flies cheaply MAN-HOU. It shouldn't be difficult, flights to the US are very reasonable atm.

Also worth looking at staring in Sweden and the Netherlands. Saved 2k flying arn-Lhr-phx. Or also found a great deal with west jet - advantage you can clear us customs in Canada.

Skyscanner or Momondo are both good

Flights to the USA are cheap as chips at the moment - I would recommend signing up to Jack's Flight Club as a pp recommended as they have loads of good deals coming through. I recently bought Virgin nonstop flights to Florida for £300 which I was pretty pleased about.

TheStirrer · 11/06/2019 17:04

I need to find flights from London to Albuquerque and have found some reasonable ones on sky scanner with world airfares via Finnair - they look really cheap compared to BA or American Airlines despite looking like the same flights. Has any one used WorldAirfares - are they reputable or should I avoid?

xadtethe52 · 11/06/2019 17:58

www.jetradar.com/?marker=15048 is the only place I go to search flights now, after consistently finding them to find the best deals. They don't 'promote' any particular airline, but are totally transparent, plus they include the extra fees and taxes that you know you have to pay but many other 'comparison' sites leave off. This is helpful, as you can make a fair assessment of which is the best price.
